The Talaia is located at 445 m above sea level, in the area of Bonaire, in the municipality of Alcúdia. The route can be started from the site of the Hermitage de la Victoria, a fortified building dating from 1679. From here there is good signposting and a choice of routes all indicating time and difficulty levels. The most usual route being a bridle path which leads up to the Penya Roja, a strategic point in the defence of Alcúdia and then continues right up to the Talaia. From here you have stunning views of the bay of Port Pollensa and the bay of Alcudia.
This trail can be done in a circular route back to the starting point. You can also visit the beach of Es Coll Baix, Puig des Boc (342 m), Ses Fontanelles Sobiranes and the hill of Na Benet (164 m).
