The route of "Coves Blanques"begins 200m before reaching Cala Barques. It begins in a small pine forest and follows a dirt track that runs along the sea giving beautiful views to the Sierra Cavall Bernat and Colomer of Formentor. It crosses through some tunnels built during the 1940s because of the war. At the end of the tunnel you can keep going upwards guided by the marks of stones known as "fites" in the Mallorcan language. From the top you can continue up to the Pas dels Pescadors from where you get to the Cala Castell or you can climb to the top of Cornavaques located 546m above sea level.
